StatusNet at PodCamp Montreal

I'm proud to say that StatusNet is now a Silver Sponsor for this weekend's PodCamp Montreal. A PodCamp is a BarCamp-like meeting of podcasters and other social media producers and aficionados. Last year's PodCamp Montreal was great, and I'm glad that we've got a chance to help make this one even better.

I'll also be speaking on Saturday at 1:30PM about using StatusNet to distribute podcasts. I think this is an interesting use of our software, and I hope I can show off some cool ways to mix microblogging and audio.

PodCamp Montreal takes place this weekend, September 19-20 2009, at the UQAM Design Centre (1440 rue Sanguinet at Ste. Catherine) in Montreal. As with most BarCamp-like events, registration is free of charge and open to all.
