StatusNet 0.8.2 released

A quick note to point out that StatusNet 0.8.2 has been released and is available for download at http://status.net/statusnet-0.8.2.tar.gz.

0.8.2 ("Life and How To Live It") is the latest stable version of StatusNet. Everyone is encouraged to upgrade to it ASAP.

Notable changes include bug fixes to URL detection, some new scripts for user management, additional XMPP commands, some fixes to make StatusNet work in PHP CGI environments, and many other bug fixes.

Thanks to all the developers who've made StatusNet so great. This is the last planned version (we hope) of the 0.8.x branch of StatusNet, barring security updates. We expect to have a release candidate of the 0.9.x release available by Nov 20.
