0.9beta4 Upgrade 27 January 2010 @ 10:00pm EST
Hello All,
Tonight, at 10:00pm EST we'll be making the move to 0.9beta4. This represents what should be the final beta for 0.9. All StatusNet hosted sites (including Identi.ca) will be offline for a brief period during the upgrade. It is expected that there will be some performance degradation as we bring the site back online, and that it could continue through sometime around 1:00am EST. As usual, we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this disruption in service might cause and we're sure you'll find the 0.9beta4 additions worth the wait.
Thanks,
Nate

Last night's problem is back, started 20 minutes ago
Last night's problem of "Personal" not updating just started again about 20 minutes ago. Two of my last 3 dents that I sent don't show in my "Personal" timeline, but are all in my "Profile" timeline.
openid deactivate doesnt work in beta4
Hi,
i deactivated OpenID by putting
$config['openid']['enabled'] = false;
in the config file. It still appears in the account site.

openid deactivate doesnt work in beta4
We hit the same OpenID issue - we were able to work around it by setting the default list of plugins:
$config['plugins']['default'] = array();
unquehandler error
with queue and sms deactivated in config.php i had to uncomment line 238-240 in lib/queuemanager.php to avoid an "UnQueueManager: Unknown queue: sms" error after klicking on send in beta4.
best,

Session/Login Issues
We're wokring on why this is occuring, but for the time being, the quickest fix to the problem is to clear your browser's cache and delete all of your identi.ca cookies, then log back in. Applogies to folks who were having this problem overnight.
Thanks,
Nate
Login and XMPP posting not working
I've been unable to login on the website for 6-7 hours now (the dreaded "There was a problem with your session token." message) and posting from XMPP doesn't work, though I do get updates. In all honesty, jabber.org seems to have its own problems today.

Guys... I love the site but
Guys... I love the site but you need to get your act together.
Your release procedure is completely flawed.
Session cookie
Delete History incl. the cookies.
Than try to Login and it works.
Greetings
ps: identimoc the script works, problems with my own written client with Service is temporarly not available. But I can wait with my develop of this prog. Thanks for holding up identi.ca as a free service.
Can't login on identi.ca after the update.
There was a problem with your session token. Try again, please.
What happens?
Using Chromium 5.0.308.0 (37376) on KUbuntu 9.10
where to download beta4
Hi all,
where can i download the beta4?
Identica has been totally
Identica has been totally broken for over 2 hours now (Personal timelines not updating). It would be nice if someone from Identica would at least notice and post a heads-up to users on this blog, in "Service Status", or a sitewide notice on identica... something.
Finally
now seems to be working again for me
Intermittent "inbox" freezes
Hi guys, noticing that my "yareckon and friends" inbox stream @ http://identi.ca/yareckon/all is not refreshing for the past hour even though folks that I have subscribed to (including myself) have continued to post. Dunno if this is a database sync issue or what. The same frozen view from about an hour ago is there whether via Choqok or via the web interface.
Thanks for all of your hard work on identi.ca!
I second the request for a changelog with new version releases, even if it's just a bugfix.
login problems
Getting the same error message
"There was a problem with your session token. Try again, please."
Login failure
I second aqeeliz's problem (Firefox 3.0.1 Windows XP), I'm unable to login via the website due to "There was a problem with your session token. Try again, please.", same applies to openid login but I can post using the API.
I am already logged in from my other OS (Firefox 3.5.7 Linux Mint) but can not log out, which is probably related.
Re: Login Failure
This is interesting: On Win2K login does not work with new Firefox 3.5.7 (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; de; rv:1.9.1.7) Gecko/20091221 Firefox/3.5.7), but plain old MSIE 6.0 (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)) works.
Re: Login failure
I can 'third' the problem. In one browser I cannot login, and in another I cannot logout. Don't think this beta is ready for prime time....
Login Issues
Also getting "There was a problem with your session token. Try again", using both Chromium5.0.308.0 & Firefox 3.6 on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx Alpha 2
Same problem over here too
Using Firefox 3.6 on Windows.
Can't login on identi.ca after the update.
When I try to login, I get
"There was a problem with your session token. Try again, please."
Using Chrome 4.0.302, on Kubuntu 9.10. It was working fine before, so I am assuming this has something to do with the upgrade. Any ideas what the problem might be? Or should I post a ticket on trac?
Can't login after the update.
Yes, same here.
Ubuntu Karmic/ FF 3.5.7.
There was a problem with your session token. Try again, please.
Same problem. Chromium 5.0.308.0 (37376) KUbuntu 9.10
Re: Can't login on identi.ca after the update
Yes. Joined to the problem too. I am using Iceweasel 3.0.6 (Firefox) on Debian Lenny (stable). After upgrade I have got the same issues and can not login.
