Hello StatusNet community! This is Derek, reporting to you from StatusNet in Montreal, and I have an announcement to make!

There will be a StatusCheck event, this Wednesday July 21, 2010 in Portland, Oregon. You and your friends are welcome to join us at Henry's Tavern, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.

There has been a lot of great things happening lately, with the launch of the StatusNet Desktop, the Federated Social Web Summit, and OSCON, and so there is a lot to discuss.

Come and join us for some drinks and be a part of the StatusNet discussion. We look forward to seeing you there!
