StatusReport: StatusNet receives funding, OStatus interviews.

This past week has been a great week for StatusNet, as we announced yesterday that we have recently received funding from FirstMark Capital, joined by BoldStart Ventures, iNovia, and Montreal Start Up! This brings the total amount of funding for StatusNet to a reasonable $2.3 Million.

 

 

 

 

Latest updates

This week, OStatus released a post on an interview with Tuomas Koski. The purpose of the interview was to get a better understanding of what people think of OStatus and how they use it. The most recent OStatus interview is only the first of many interviews that will be released over the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

StatusNet was spotted at the Download Festival! The founder of Jamendo, Sylvain Zimmer, was spotted wearing a StatusNet t-shirt! That is great!
