Recent Mentions of StatusNet

In an article entitled "What social networks can learn from email - It's all about interoperability", Mayank Sharma talks about StatusNet and identi.ca, and how "running a social network behind corporate borders for employees to connect with each other is the standard way to network for many global businesses."
In an article written by Joab Jackson from Computer World UK, Jackson talks about open source social media, how StatusNet is an example of that, and how "such offerings could free users -- and their data -- from the locks of any one social-networking service."

Correction of Flag
Great observation! You will see that I have gone and changed the flag to the actual flag of China.
Wrong Flag?
Howdy - you have the Taiwanese flag in your blog post. You mention that your colleague is working in "China" . That flag is here: .
Sorry to nitpick, but people on the Mainland tend to get fussy about these things.
