I'm excited to share some news today that has been in the works for some time now. Brion Vibber (@brionv) will be joining StatusNet, Inc. as senior architect starting October 12th.

StatusNet at PodCamp Montreal

I'm proud to say that StatusNet is now a Silver Sponsor for this weekend's PodCamp Montreal. A PodCamp is a BarCamp-like meeting of podcasters and other social media producers and aficionados. Last year's PodCamp Montreal was great, and I'm glad that we've got a chance to help make this one even better. I'll also be speaking on Saturday at 1:30PM about using StatusNet to distribute podcasts.
