Choose identi.ca when creating a new account. Your username is NAME@SERVER, e.g. test@brainbird.net

This isn't working for me,

This isn't working for me, using a subdomain on status.net. I enter the screenname username@subdomain.status.net through the identi.ca option, it gets added to the list, but when I select it and click connect, nothing happens.

Am I missing something?

Use the laconi.ca option for Cloud sites

It looks like you actually need to use the laconi.ca option, with screenname username@subdomain.status.net, to connect to sites on the StatusNet Cloud with twhirl.

We had an internal

We had an internal installation of statusnet (running on an Ubuntu server) and to access it via twhirl we needed to add a 'laconi.ca' account with the screen name of name@pathtostatusnet, e.g. dave@ubuntu01\statusnet.

This worked fine for us but having said that I stumbled on this post because I'm having problems after installing statusnet 0.9.1 on a different Windows server (using wamp). Not sure if it's an install problem or something to do with the combination of releases now.

Hope this helps - but if not, I tried ;-)
