When you're looking at a group page, and you're a member of the group, it'd be nice to have a button like "Post".

to this feature. A few times, instinctively, I sought it.

= Expected benefits =
* fewer cross-postings to multiple groups
* fewer deletions and/or re-posts (such actions are typical, after you accidentally address a group of which you are not a member).

= Additional suggestion =
* if the group has an alias, then ''Post'' might use the shortest address.

An equivalent feature into StatusNet by the time 1.0 was released.
