Date header missing in e-mails

The Date: header is missing from mails sent by identi.ca. I have seen this at least with e-mails notifying me about new subscribers to my profile.
This causes my webmail client to fill in a fairly arbitrary date (and SpamAssassin attaches the value MISSING_DATE to the X-Spam-Status header).

Updates
#1
Emails sent by identica itself, and by my own laconica instance, have the Date header set. I'm also running Spam Assassin, and it does not report MISSING_DATE in the X-Spam-Status header. I suspect something in your mail system is eating the Date header, because identica/laconica seem to be doing it right.
