AFAICT a hosted instance, OOTB, uses admin@status.net as shown at [[BR]]
`/admin/site`

= Suggestions =
* do not use the admin@status.net address unnecessarily
* pre-populate, using the known e-mail address for the administrator who requested the instance.

It's very easily worked around (so, priority: 5) but this minor improvement could be part of first class first impressions.
