Extended conversations are great, eg https://identi.ca/conversation/45038693 but can be hard to keep track of.

Would be nice to be able to switch to a flat, most recent first, viewing mode. Maybe could be all done in JS?

Note this is not a duplicate of http://status.net/open-source/issues/2121 or other bugs linked from there, though could complement some of them nicely.

I have no object to flat view as an *option*, but IMHO flat is not the best default.

For **context**: tree view is more often helpful than flat.

Now that non-threaded conversations are the default, I guess this bug ought be closed.
