When blocking a user, it feels like I shouldn't get any further messages from them. However, if that user is posting to a group, their messages continue to pour in.
The reason this is an issue is because a bot started posting spam across a series of groups I follow. I blocked the user in hopes that my statusnet notifications wouldn't continue flooding my screen but as far as I can tell, when blocking a user, their posts will still come through a group.
This arose because of the following user: http://identi.ca/bruceryder
This user was posting into a series of groups that I'm in such as http://identi.ca/group/python
I flagged and blocked the user, but I still see their statusnet posts in the timeline for the group, which I would hope is hidden since the user is blocked, or even better would be to say "# of messages not displayed because of your block settings" or such.
