Hello,
Following an issue I had with Queue Daemon, I'm trying to monitor it.
Monit is a good start but having some figures about handled notices, erros rate,... as mentionned here: http://status.net/wiki/Daemon_redesign#Process_state_monitoring_example
Problem is most users with theur own statusnet instance don't have ActiveMQ and basically don't need it, until they run a pretty big cluster.
Therefore, it could be nice to get either an admin dashboard with some stats and monitoring and/or API calls to be able to get theses infos from outside.
It's mentionned here: http://status.net/wiki/Long_term_development_issues but, since this roadmap does not seems to be completly up-to-date, I'm not sure it's still valid.
