http://identi.ca/api/statuses/public_timeline.atom should be PubSubHubBub/OStatus enabled.

Should it really? Just curious. I think enabling PuSH on the public timeline would result in a much bigger system load than desirable. At least I don't think this should be core functionality.

Making a plugin that enables this, sure, but I highly doubt it would be worth the system load and bandwidth.
