No error output for too long notices submitted by mail

No error output for too long notices submitted by mail

Issue ID:3214
Issue Category:bug
Component:email
Priority:normal
Status:active
Assigned:Unassigned
Keywords:bounce, email, error message, too long

I send an email to $Rnd@identi.ca to have it posted as a new notice (replacing $Rnd with my personal "Random string", of course).

Body of the email:
This is not going to work, since the text in this email body for a new
notice is more than 140 chars. But it "silently" dies with no command
output at all :(

Bounce text:

Subject: No command output?!?

I'm concerned about the

********************************************************************************
Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; Command died with status 1: "/usr/bin/php
/var/www/statusnet/scripts/maildaemon.php -sidenti.ca". Command output:

********************************************************************************

After command output, it should've printed something like "more than 140c".

And, actually, it should generate a NICE looking error message. Not something
as cryptic as such a bounce message...
