BrowserID is way cooler than OpenID; ought be a login option, perhaps default. http://mozilla.github.com/browserid-field-guide/toc.html

I second this. Also, I am advocating that it be a plugin (such as OpenID). Reason: I would like to see this done, and I think there is a better chance if someone besides SN company folks put it together.
