I have a (spamming) user on Free & Social whose profileurl in the profile table is the site's root url.

Has anyone experienced this before? I'll start looking where things could have gone wrong. Is it perhaps possible to initially register a user with a null character, or is it just something I've managed to screw up in modifying StatusNet?
