On the live.occupy.net install of statusnet for some reason emails are being picked up in the url shortener and are getting turned into a link that strips everything before the @ sign so info@example.com becomes a link to http://@example.com

note in this example https://live.occupy.net/notice/4805 in the live.occupy.net site hovering over the link shows http://@example.com as described above

In the process to solve this we have tried switching the url shortener to LilUrl and SimpleUrl both without any success in the config.php
