When I go to http://identi.ca/main/remote to perform a remote subscription, Identi.ca tells me "You can use the local subscription!". Has the remote subscription process changed or is that a bug or a problem created by the upgrade ?

main/remote is for remote users (i. e. users not on identi.ca). Are you sure that you are not logged in to identi.ca when heading to main/remote? When I am logged out, the page looks correct.

Ok - I had the wrong idea of the remote subscription process, I was trying to subscribe to a remote user through Identi.ca. The right way is to start the remote subscription process on the remote site by following the "subscribe" link and letting Oauth do its thing. Now that I understand it, it is simple and obvious - but I am guessing that I may not be the only one who'll do it upside down and need an explanation.
