Bio: Christopher Murtagh (@xopher) was the web system architect for McGill University where he architected the server system and was the lead software developer of McGill's custom web publishing system. He founded McLUG (McGill's Linux User Group), and after leaving for freelance consulting specializing in open source software, worked for Terra Soft Solutions (the makers of Yellow Dog Linux) as a sysadmin and package builder. A lover of jazz and avant-garde music, he also has a small record label. Christopher serves StatusNet as senior systems engineer.
