Hello, guys!
I am Vivek Rp from Oxi Technologies India (OXITECH).
Oxi Technologies is a leading web development company based in Bangalore, India.
We want to organize a StatusCamp in Bangalore.

We are also developing a micro-blogging site based on StatusNet. We are adding more features than Twitter to it, such as

  1. OpenID: In StatusNet, there is already OpenID support, but we are making your profile ID your OpenID, e.g. http://spreadstun.com/vivekrp is your profile ID as well as OpenID. You can use this URL to sign in to more than 9 million sites world wide. More about OpenID is at http://openid.net
  2. Many themes and plugins.
  3. Integration with Twitter. Facebook is already in the latest StatusNet release, but we are adding some extra social sites to our micro-blogging sites, such as Jaiku, Tumblr, Yammer, Posterous, Plurk, and Friendfeed.
  4. IM and SMS Support.
  5. Widgets and badges for websites and blogs. We are also developing WordPress and Joomla plugins.

If you suggest ideas, we will try to add those features to our micro-blogging site.
