• James Walker will also be presenting Federating the Social Web at the Free Software and Open Source Symposium (FSOSS) today. If you are in Toronto today, and just happen to have some free time, it would be worth stopping by the Seneca@York Campus to listen to his presentation at 2:00pm.

• In Brion Vibber's recent blog post, StatusNet 0.9.6 release candidate: OAuth API changes, he talks about how the general download will be available later this week. Visit Brion's blog for more details about the recent changes.

• Evan Prodromou explains about what is going on with the ad server changes on Identi.ca in his latest blog post.

• Next week, http://mozilla.status.net and Jon from StatusNet will be attending [www.drumbeat.org/about Mozilla Drumbeat]. The purpose of Drumbeat "is to gather smart, creative people... to improve the open web". The festival will be held in Barcelona from November 3rd until the 5th.

• Jon will be speaking at the Free Society Conference and Nordic Summit (FSCONS) on November the 7th. The conference will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden from November the 5th to the 7th. While in Sweden, Jon will also be making a presentation at the University of Sweden.

• Later on in November, Jon will be speaking at [fossasia.org/speakers/jon-phillips FOSSASIA] which will be taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from November 12th until the 14th.
