Here are two enhacements which I think would be good for all Status.Net instances:

-opening an active link (not oembed) in a new (pop-up?) window, so the user stays on our site

-StatusNet Web Tool (link wrapper) as seen on many sites like StumbleUpon.com or Pligg-powered sites (http://forums.pligg.com/questions-comments/18148-pligg-toolbar-just-like...) have a look at printscreen: http://forums.pligg.com/attachments/questions-comments/1964d1241850684-p...
